Beach Side
Stones Self-Hardening Clay, Ink, Color Pencil
2" x 2" 1.5"
This sculpture portrays a trip I used to take with my family. I used to going camping with my family and there was this fun spot on the beach with dozens of dead trees that we would climb and explore. I chose clay as the material cause the look and texture reminded me of wet sand on the beach. The wavy pattern and blue ink represent the ocean and the lines wrapping around it portrays all the tree trunks. The color pencil was used to create a texture look of old tree bark.
